We Are The In Crowd-Copyright Problem

The pop punk band “We Are The In Crowd," the reggae group “The In Crowd” and Hopeless Records were involved in it. We Are The In Crowd's original name was The In Crowd but there was another band already named that. Instead of going to court about it, the pop punk band decided to change their name to avoid more trouble. Hopeless Records was involved because they wanted We Are The In Crowd under their label and it wouldn't work out as long as their name was "The In Crowd" They went through a lot of variations of the name before settling on WATIC. Some fans still refer to them as "The In Crowd" but, it’s never on their merch or any products of theirs anymore so they don’t get in trouble. If there was a case they probably would’ve had to pay a fine and change the name anyways
