Online A Reflection
Technology is important because it's a part of nearly everything nowadays. It's important to learn how to use it so you're not behind. Over the last 5 years technology has advanced a lot. We've gone from bulky and slow cell phones and computers to plasma screens and slim-touch-screen smart phones. In the next 5 years it'll probably still be advancing a lot, hovercrafts and all that. The technology I use for school work varies on what I'm doing. Usually I use Microsoft software and the internet for most things. At home however I play video games and use the computer. A lot of the tools I don't think I'll use because I didn't find a point to them. I'll probably keep using Gmail and widgets but the blog and delicious for example I won't use outside of class. A tool practical for lifelong learning...I don't really know. I guess just the internet itself. A tool I won't use is probably the avatar sites, the podcasting, and delicious (it didn't help me organize anything). My favorite to create was just anything with Microsoft because I think it's easiest to use. Least favorite was the things I listed as the tools I won't continue using outside of class.
